Splash, Learn, and Grow
At the Mandel JCC in Boynton Beach, water comes alive with activities for every age. Swim, play, and explore in programs designed to build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for the water—whether in lessons, lap swimming, or family-friendly activities.
Our Vision
- Have children create core memories through our positive and fun in-water learning experiences
- Develop and strengthen individual mental and physical health through swimming
- Be an educational resource for the community emphasizing the dangers of childhood drowning, while providing prevention education.
- Foster a life-long love of the sport of swimming
- Always “WOW” our swimmers
- Be the leading swim program in South Florida

If a student is not toilet trained or is toilet trained for less than 6 months, he/she must wear a disposable diaper and an approved cloth swim diaper to assure a double layer of protection. The cloth swim diaper must pass the two fingers test (if 2 fingers can be inserted under the elastic in the legs and waist, the swim diaper is too large and the child will not be permitted in the water).
Wearing only a disposable diaper is not allowed as disposable diapers alone do not pass the Mandel Jewish Community Center and Board of Health codes.

Lap Swim
Age 18+ only
Lap swimmers can enjoy three (3) open swim lanes in our heated, outdoor pool.
Schedule
Lap Swim Hours

Baby & Me - Swim
This class introduces you and your child to basic skills. As parents, you learn how to safely work with your child, including how to appropriately support and hold them in the water and how to prepare and encourage them to participate fully and try their swimming skills. You are also introduced to several water safety topics.
Your child receives an introduction to basic skills that lay a foundation for learning to swim.
Preschool & Youth
Sharpen your child's swimming and water safety skills! Our small group ratio allows children to practice social distance. Children enrolled in a Mandel JCC childcare program will be returned to their classroom at the end of the lesson.
