Alzheimer's Community Care (ACC) has been selected as a recipient of the Change Makers Grant through the Honeycomb Teen Philanthropy Program at the Mandel JCC in Palm Beach Gardens. Local teens evaluated community needs and chose ACC from 10 nonprofit applicants. The grant will fund music therapy at ACC's Specialized Alzheimer's Adult Day Centers, helping individuals with Alzheimer's and related dementias reconnect with memories and reduce anxiety. ACC also congratulates fellow recipient Quantum House, selected by the Boynton Beach teen cohort.
