Mah Jongg & Canasta Play Sessions
There’s no time like the present to jump in and try mah jongg and canasta! Tables grouped by game preference and skill level. Coffee, cold beverages and a variety of goodies provided.

Pinochle or Gin, and Mingle!
Calling on all you men out there who are interested in sharing a bit of nostalgia. Meet new friends while playing card games…and kibitzing …in your community living room otherwise known as the Levinson Great Hall at the Mandel JCC. Coffee, cold beverages and a variety of goodies is provided.

Supervised Canasta Play Sessions
Refine your canasta skills! It's ideal for both beginners and those who have played for a longer period of time who appreciate the support of an instructor supervising their play. Enjoy playing canasta in a friendly atmosphere while benefiting from expert advice. No partner necessary. Coffee and light refreshments provided.

Instructor: Sue Silberstein, Co-Founder of the Canasta League of America, has been teaching canasta locally for many years. Her students number over 500, and include men, women and couples. Sue also certifies teachers. Running canasta tournaments both for charity and social events is an important part of her expertise.

3 Handed Canasta
Tired of not having a game because your fourth player can't make it?  Sue will teach you how to play canasta with only 3 players.  No partner necessary.

Learn a way to play canasta with 6 people.  That's right, 6 people and no one is rotating in.  In the first session, you will learn how to play.  The second session will be one of supervised play.
