Our goal is to strengthen community and family life by creating meaningful experiences and memories while learning about Jewish culture, ritual and tradition--and living Jewish values. In keeping with our mission, you will find many programs and activities designed for you and your family to enjoy together. These include family Shabbat Dinners and Shabbatons, annual holiday celebrations, pool parties, family movie nights, the Annual South Florida Parenting Family Fun Expo, mother-daughter and father-son events, and much more!

Passover Foods with a Healthy Twist
A cooking class to learn, taste and prepare for Passover!  Learn how to update classic foods and flavors with healthy and creative techniques and flavors with Amanda Fernandez, Healthy Eating and Green Mission specialist and Certified Holistic Health Coach.

 “WE CARE KIDS FAIR” at the PALM BEACH ZOO sponsored by Parenting Plus Magazine
Come see our camp directors at this wonderful community event. Activities include professional face painters, animal-themed crafts and games, plus live music and entertainment performed by kids in the community. Informative keeper talks, roving animal encounters and wildlife shows will also take place helping to further spread the Zoo’s mission to conserve wildlife, protect wildlife habitat, and inspire others to appreciate the natural world.

Aquatics


Quality Swimming®
Quality Swimming specializes in infant and toddler swimming, as well as programs for school-age children, including our Riptide Swim Team.  We also offer classes for adults of all ages from beginner to tri-athletes.  We are a year-round Aquatics Education Center that has been serving Palm Beach County for over 28 years. All instructors have completed the extensive Quality Swimming training program and participate in year-round local and national workshops, in-house training sessions and hands-on help from Lead Instructors. All Quality Swimming instructors are certified in CPR, Standard First Aid and Lifeguard Training. All Supervisors are Water Safety Instructors. All infant teachers have completed the United States Swim School Association’s Infant Course. Many of our teachers are certified in swim instruction for developmentally disabled individuals by the International Swim Instructors Association. Baby & Me Swim Classes (6 Months – 36 months)
Infants and young toddlers adjust well to a new environment and new adults when the parent or primary caretaker is present. There are three different levels of Baby and Me swim classes. Classes meet weekly for 30 minutes; recommended for babies ages 6 to 36 months.


Toddler (Waterbug) Swim Classes (2 – 3 ½ years old)
Waterbug classes are for the child who is ready to enter a group without a parent or caregiver present.  There are four levels of Waterbug classes to progress through: Waterbug, Advanced Waterbug, Super Waterbug, and Super Waterbug 2.  Children under the age of 2 ½  must have completed Baby & Me classes or private lessons and must be recommended by a teacher.


Level Swim Groups (3 ½ years and older)
Children are grouped in 30-minute classes from beginner to advanced skills, including Level 1 to 6, and Training Group.

Pick-up Times:
For Waterbug and Level classes, we can pick up students and return them to class at the Glantz Early Childhood Learning Center or The Mandel JCC After School Program:

   Tuesdays; 1:00 pm; 3:00 pm; 3:30 pm & 4:00 pm

Riptide Swim Team
Quality Swimming offers a recreational year-round swim team for children 5 years old and above that can swim one lap of the pool freestyle and one lap of the pool backstroke.  This is an introduction to competitive swimming.  Stroke technique, goal setting, interval training, and drills will be emphasized.  We participate with the South Florida Recreational Swim League.
> Mondays – Thursdays; 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm (Novice Swimmers – under age 10)
   Mondays – Thursdays; 5:15 pm – 6:30 pm (Advanced/Competing Swimmers with Coach Approval)

Registration Fee (yearly): $20/Member; $25/Guest
Monthly Tuition: $72/Member; $80/Guest
Seasonal League Fee: $15
