Our goal is to strengthen community and family life by creating meaningful experiences and memories while learning about Jewish culture, ritual and tradition-and living Jewish values. In keeping with our mission, you will find many programs and activities designed for you and your family to enjoy together. Story-Time at the J
Come and enjoy the reading of the book “Chicken Man,” by Michelle Edwards. This book is the winner of the National Jewish Book Award and looks at life on an Israeli kibbutz. The recommended age for this book is 8 years old and younger. There will be lots of fun activities for children to participate in after the reading. This program is in collaboration with the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, PJ Library, and the Lorraine & Jack N. Friedman Commission for Jewish Education of the Palm Beaches.

Family Pool Parties
Splash the day away in the George Rothman Aquatic Center! Families will enjoy pool games, sprayground time, music on the pool deck and the Camp Shalom water slide. Food will be available for purchase from the Concession Stand.

E’s Cooking at the J- Family Cooking Class
Come and spend a fun morning cooking with your family! Ellen Buscemi, host of a community based cooking program, will be offering a "hands on" experience in a three-part family cooking class.  A delicious new recipe will be introduced during each class. This program will be geared toward a small group setting (twelve children per class) to enhance the learning and cooking experience. The recommended child age for this class is 4 years and older.

Lag Ba'omer Event
Join us to celebrate Lag B’omer  Israeli Style with Shani and Nir (Shanir) Boneh, Israeli Shlichim/Emissaries, who will be reading one of PJ library families’ books about Lag Ba’Omer.  Sadie’s Lag Ba’Omer Mystery by Jamie Korngold tells the story of Sadie and her little brother Ori, who go to their Grandpa to learn what Lag Ba’Omer is all about. 

Stay afterwards for fun children’s activities including:
