Survival of a Nation: Exploring Israel through the Lens of the Six-Day War A Rohr Jewish Learning Institute Course

Why must Israel exist? Does a religion need a land? When facing annihilation, how should we respond? When, if ever, is collateral damage warranted? Commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the Six-Day War, this course, taught by Rabbi Dovid Vigler, provides an opportunity to discover what Israel means to us today.  More than a history, the course is about connection; understanding our connection to our land, to our people, and to our heritage through the prism  of the events and themes of the Six-Day War.

Thursdays; May 4, 18, 25, June 8, 15, 22; 4:30-6:00 P.M.
