Mommy/Daddy & Me
To discover and develop your child’s interests and passions early—and provide exciting alternatives to watching TV, the JCC offers a dazzling array of classes, clinics, programs and sports leagues for children ages 3 through 5. You’ll be surprised at how quickly they adapt to Dora’s Spanish or Math Mania class, or our soccer and basketball clinics. We’ve even got a cooking class where they can begin to learn about proper nutrition long before we did. Check out the extensive offerings!
Spring 2015 Enrichment Classes
Little chefs gain confidence as they participate independently in the kitchen. Counting and measuring as well as ingredient experimentation make math a natural part of every lesson. (ages 3-5)

Art experiences that contribute to childrens’ artistic and creative development with a wide range of skills in other areas including perceptual, cognitive, language and social skills. In this class we will utilize many different materials and textures to create our very own unique "works of art." (ages 3-5)

Weird Science workshops are unique hands on learning experiences for young children. Interactive and age appropriate, each workshops introduces children to a basic science topic. The children perform experiments and participate in demonstrations. (ages 3-5 PreK)

Young thinkers can build unbelievable structures with this simple stacking plank system. Create ramps, funnels, chutes and crazy contraptions like the "Black Hole" and "Bounce Plate." Fostering unlimited creativity and experimentation, KEVA planks build an early understanding of proportion and balance, while teaching basic principles of physics and engineering. No glue, no connectors-just loads of constructive fun! KEVA Contraptions planks are made from pine. KEVA products support STEM education. (ages 3-5)

Hip Hop and Zumba Ultimate Dance
Zumba blends international music with lively dance moves. children will learn to shake and wiggle, Zumba-style, to hip hop music or their favorite tunes. Dance enhances sensory awareness while adding an element of fun. Children won’t even know they are exercising. (ages 3-5)

Martial Arts Classes

Baby & Me Swim Classes (6 months – 36 months)
Infants and young toddlers tend to have a smoother adjustment to a new environment and new adults when the parent or primary caretaker is present. Classes meet weekly for 30 minutes; recommended for babies ages 6 to 36 months.

Toddler (Waterbug) Swim Classes (2 – 3 ½ years old)
Waterbug classes are for the child who is ready to enter a group without a parent or caregiver present. There are four levels of Waterbug classes to progress through: Waterbug, Advanced Waterbug, Super Waterbug, and Super Waterbug 2. Children under the age of 2 ½ must have completed Baby & Me classes or private lessons and must be recommended by a teacher.
Level Swim Groups (3 ½ years and older)
Children are grouped in 30 minute classes from beginner to advanced skills, including Level 1 to 6, and Training Group.
For Waterbug and Level classes, we can pick up students and return them to class at the Glantz Early Childhood Learning Center or The Mandel JCC After School Program:
