Your child will have a seamless transition from school day to After School, in our popular JCC after school program. We give kids lots of one-on-one attention as we promote their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. Kids love it because we let them run off steam in the gym and outdoors, we help them with homework, get creative with art projects, play games and serve snacks. These enriching activities are part of a thoughtful curriculum that’s aligned with your child’s school and designed to engage your child while keeping the love of learning alive! JCC After School enhances your child’s school day experience in the best way possible.
At the Mandel JCC After School program we provide a wonderful facility, where your child will participate in fun activities such as martial arts, cooking, music, art projects, gym and outdoor activities, supervised homework help, healthy snacks, and more. We are also proud to include Judaic learning and activities and Israeli Shlichim who are part of our staff. Throughout the school year, the After-school Program celebrates Shabbat and the holidays on the Jewish calendar. These holiday celebrations offer each child a chance to learn about the holiday and start traditions with friends and family.
Our flexible program offers you a choice of schedules for even more convenience. We’re here to meet your family’s needs.
A variety of activities are offered to engage children in a fun and safe learning environment.
Enrichment Classes: Please check out our fabulous selection of enrichment classes. Offered at an additional cost.
After school children can register for an enrichment class and will be escorted to and from the class by our staff.
The Mandel JCC prides itself on providing a safe and nurturing environment where professional and experienced staff respect and value the diversity of each child. We offer excellent staff to children ratios, with every staff member having had a complete background check with regular in-service trainings.
The children will be escorted from Ben Gamla to the JCC by our After School Staff. Upon arrival, the children will be given a snack. Full time, 2pm-6pm, 5 days a week, JCC members will receive the “No School Days” on Veteran’s Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Early Release (Half) Days at no extra cost.
