Morocco is a pocket of sanity in a chaotic world. It is a journey into an exotic sphere of color, culture and history. This landmark trip will delve deeply into the many layers of the Jewish presence in Morocco intertwined with the Muslim culture of this fascinating land. Join us on this multi-cultural adventure as we travel back in time through the Kasbahs and Mellahs of the major sites of Morocco including but not limited to the palaces of Rabat, the synagogues of Fez, the Atlas Mountains, the historic monument of Marrakesh and the Mosques of Casablanca. This unique experience will emphasize the tolerance and understanding that has been part of Moroccan history and is celebrated in the Moroccan Jewish festival known as Mimounah. London and Strafford-Upon-Avon: A Jewish Heritage Tour
We are in the planning stages of this journey where our emphasis is on literature, theatre and education. We will be visiting Jewish sites in London, attending lectures and exploring the Judaic elements in William Shakespeare’s plays.
