 A New JCC is Coming!
The JCC has identified a 14-acre site on Hood Road in Palm Beach Gardens in the heart of the Jewish community of Northern Palm Beach County. The new, totally WIFI-enabled, 47,000-square-foot JCC will be home to the JCC preschool, camp, adult education programs, after-school programs, teen center, programs for children with special needs, and a wellness center for those of all ages. JCC Children's Scholarship Fund: Aiding our Local Jewish Youth
Numerous studies show that children who are exposed to Jewish values and culture at Jewish summer camps often stay connected to Jewish life as adults. At JCC Camp Shalom, children develop a sense of Jewish identity, an affinity for Israel, and a strong connection to the Jewish community through sports, music, art, cooking, dance and special events.
Young families are among the hardest hit by the crippling economic downturn and staggering unemployment. Requests for camp scholarships have skyrocketed while donations have plummeted and the JCC Children’s Scholarship fund has been depleted. These families need rescue. Please help the JCC Children’s Scholarship Fund. Your donation is vital to the lives of hundreds of Jewish children and their families. We must not fail them during this critical time.
